Hybrid diapers are designed to combine the benefits of cloth with the ease of disposables.
They consist of a waterproof outer cover and two inner absorbent-layer options: a cloth insert or a disposable insert.
Cloth inserts are basically rectangular runners, made in a variety of fabrics including cotton, microfiber, and/or hemp. They're sometimes filled with an ultra-absorbent microfiber.
Disposable inserts are the single-use version; you can buy rolls of 100 inserts for roughly $10. Mama Koala Cloth Diaper Reviews
I was originally interested in these because of the cute prints and decided to order because of the price. These diapers are half the price of the name brand I ordered when we first switched to cloth and in my opinion much better too.
The name brand one size diapers would leave marks on my 28lb toddler’s legs. She’d also wake up soaked with pruny, irritated skin. With Mama Koala diapers there are no marks on her legs and the layer closest to her skin keeps her dryer so there is much less pruning and no irritation. She seems far more comfortable, especially at night.
As an added bonus, these dry much faster on the line than the more expensive ones and the snaps fit together tighter. Plus the patterns are even cuter in person.
I’m due with our newest addition in just over seven weeks so I’ll update my review when I can try these out on our newborn.

Alvababy are my first and only cloth diapers I have used. They are not too bulky and hot for a baby in the summer (compared to some fleece ones I just inherited, but don’t use). I use two inserts at night to prevent leaking since toddler sleeps 12+ hours and have not had one leak! Disposable diapers leaked all the time overnight! I do wish I didn’t have to hang dry to get the ammonia smell out though. I have tried all the tricks, but hang dry is the only solution. These diapers are cute and my toddler loves wearing these as pants half the time! She also can’t pull them off super easy! 😉

This cloth pocket diaper is my favorite cloth diaper being a father of an almost 1 year old. In my experience cloth diapering with my son, I have favored this diaper over all the others we have due to multiple reasons.
1) It has never leaked
2) It is easy to assemble with the cloth insert
3) The buttons are secure and good quality

5) Easy to clean the “#2s”, as with other cloth diapers the #2 is not easy to get out of the fabric.

Simple Being Reusable Cloth Diapers Reviews
These are so nice and cute I haven’t had Them very long But so far they are great!! Every thing statutes contained East to clean and let me tell you my 6 month old son has had about 5 big poops today ( no more Barries for him) and I feel like he’s has had less leakage either there’s then regular diapers. They even do really well at night as long as they are triple padded we actually use microfiber towers ( For polishing a car) for the extra padding and it works great a nice cheaper option. It’s works well for my toddler as well. Not one leak with her. I will definitely be buying more of these.

4. How to Wash Cloth Diapers
- Remove inserts from pocket diapers.
- Always use the highest water level allowed by your washer.
- Begin with a cold rinse, with no detergent.
- After the cold rinse, run a regular wash cycle on hot, using 1/4 cup detergent. If you're using a cloth diaper detergent, follow the instructions on the package.
- Follow up with an extra rinse on cold to ensure all residual detergent is completely rinsed away.
- Dry on hot.
- Don't worry that washing cloth diapers will leave your washer stinky. It will be exactly as clean as the diaper and drains to the same place your toilet does.
