Obstetricians and Gynecologists | O & G | in Johor (2020 edition)

Gynaecology or gynecology is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive systems (vagina, uterus and ovaries), breasts and pregnancy related management. Literally, outside medicine, it means "the science of women".
Almost all modern gynaecologists are also obstetricians and therefore the term obstetricians & gynecologists or O&G or OBGYN in short. In many areas, the specialties of gynaecology and obstetrics overlap.

What's the difference between obstetricians and gynaecologists? Most gynaes are qualified with a post-graduate qualification in O&G i.e. MRCOG or Master of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Therefore, they are trained both in obstetrics as well as gynaecology. An obstetrician specialises in pregnancy related aspects of women's health whereas a gynae specialised in the 'non-pregnancy' related aspects.

Next, you may also need to understand that there are 4 primary subspecialties in ob/gyn:
1) maternal fetal medicine (obstetrics)
2) reproductive endocrinology and infertility (IVF Malaysia etc.)
3) female pelvic and reconstructive surgery (uro-gynae in Malaysia)
4) gynaecologic oncology (gynae-oncologist)

yup, true. i wld also recommend Dr Rajesh because he was my Gynea. we are very happy with his service. i did missed my appoinment once and he called me personally asking if i'm doing ok bcz that moment i'm suffering from a major illness while i was pregnant. he was a caring gynea n really makes me feel safe n confident to deliver my baby.

In my experiance i will recomended doc teh jin teik from columbia. His workmenship really beyond expectation. I had ceaser in 2011 for my 1st baby. No scar at all. Unfortunatly his not working at columbia nusajaya anymore. If im not mistaken he is now resident doc at kempas medical centre.
