Oct 2012 - Was referred here by a doula friend - she highly recommended Dr. Antoinette Whitehead and I wasn't disappointed. Really kind and took the time to meet with me fully clothed before the exam to talk about anything and every possible concern I might have. The wait time was amazing by NYC GYN standards - about 20 minutes, if that.

Mar 2012 - My former GYN at Downtown Women which I loved, Dr. Michelle, moved to DC so I had to find a new one. Went to Dr. Goodstein last year and I thought she had a cold way to treat a patient. Besides, physically, she gave me the most annoying GYN exam I ever had and I also had a feeling she didn't listen to my issues and concerns.

Feb 2012 - Why wait hours in a busy congested OBGYN office when you can go to Downtown Women OB GYN and be seen by Jessica Safier whom although not a full fledge obgyn, made me feel comfortable and relaxed and as though all of my questions were answered. You know how these appointments can be uncomfortable? Well it wasn't any more uncomfortable than it had to be. I highly recommend this place AND they take just about any insurance!

Feb 2012 - ...Dr. Daley was bright, upbeat and again thorough.  She suggest a medical follow-up for my slightly elevated bloodpressure.  When I joked about stress, she pressed (but didn't pressure) that I should still probably follow-up with my GP.   When I called the office back since I had forgotten the exact diastolic reading, they were extremely friendly and helpful.  How awesome to have a staffed, non-answering machine nurses line for your queries like this!  I am extremely happy with Downtown Women and I could not recommend it more highly!

Jan 2012 - ...Dr. Min was really great and the reason I'll definitely be returning to Downtown Women. I thought she was sweet, professional, and easygoing. She was very clear about everything she was doing and the reasons behind certain questions and the exam itself was speedy and painless. She encouraged me to hurry back and visit to get an HPV vaccination and provided me with more literature about it...
