Beauty centre and clinic found closed

PETALING JAYA: A beauty centre and a clinic where a woman underwent a breast enlargement procedure and later died last week were found to be closed.
Calls to the beauty centre were not picked up while an A4-sized paper with the word “Closed” were seen pasted on the clinic’s door.
The clinic, located around the corner from the beauty centre used to be open on Mondays and Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm.
Jane Lim Mei Jiuan, 46, a mother of two who underwent a breast enlargement cosmetic surgery at the clinic, died last Saturday.
Members of her family lodged a police report on the same day and plan to file another report with the Health Ministry after the post- mortem results.
