I’m a mid 40s trail runner and starting to feel some consistent joint, knee pain. Assuming I am already working on running mechanics, are there any supplements that you take to maintain overall joint health?

I'm 35, but I have osteoarthritis in my knee. In addition to glucosamine and chondroitin, I take MSM and boswellia. Since I've started taking that combo I've been able to alleviate most of my pain. Also since taking those I generally only experience flare ups after exceptionally long or strenuous runs.

November 2020 - Not long after I first started mountain biking on a hard trail bike my knees started to ache and soon become pretty painful. I came across a product from Hammer Nutrition called Tissue Rejuvenator. It is glucosamine & chondroitin.. So I tried it for a couple months and did have relief. I ran out and a few weeks later my knees were starting to ache again so ordered more, soon the aching went away. That was about 20 years ago and I’m still using it and still mountian biking, road biking and working out at the gym with no knee pain...

February 2009 - I have used MSM for back pain and hip pain. It worked great. I am now running 4 miles a day with no pain. It also helped with my seasonal allergy.

January 2009 - I've used it for pain for several months on and off. It really works for me. I usually do not have to take for more than a week at a time then do not use it until I have a increase in pain from arthritis.

May 2015- I take Omega-3 Fish Oil for my severe joint pain and it all but disappeared. It is truly amazing. I take two capsules everyday!

January 2010 - My finger joints had such severe arthritis that they would literally sting. The condition had existed for more than ten years. I started taking 1000mg per day of fish oil to help with my cholesterol. A side-benefit turned out to be the complete disappearance of these inflammation symptoms in my joints. No more stinging has occurred. It has been two and a half years.

July 2009 - Works great for joint pain. Rather quickly too. Within a few days. I have tried several brands and find either expensive or not it works.
