6 Best Phytonutrients Supplements: Review 2023

Vitamins, minerals, and macronutrients like proteins, carbs, and fats are not the same as phytonutrients. They can be found in a variety of fruits, vegetables, spices, and even edible flowers.

Phytochemicals serve as pollination attractants or as defenses against pest and insect attacks and other stresses, like as ultraviolet light. Moreover, phytochemicals also contribute to color or aroma of the foods and are recognized to have potential benefits for human health and nutrition.

Foods rich in phytochemicals are frequently quite colorful, but these nutrients are also rich in some white foods for example olive oil, onions, and garlic.

Phytonutrients Benefits

Some of the important bioactive phytonutrients include polyphenols, terpenoids, resveratrol, flavonoids, isoflavonoids, carotenoids, limonoids, glucosinolates, phytoestrogens, phytosterols, anthocyanins, ω-3 fatty acids, and probiotics. They play specific pharmacological effects in human health such as anti-microbial, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, anti-spasmodic, anti-cancer, anti-aging and many more. (Source)

Metagenics PhytoMulti With Iron Reviews
First vitamin with iron that has actually given me energy ever. I read in an article somewhere that when it comes to vitamins you get what you pay for, I knew of this brand metagenics from my friend who got me some magnesium vitamins. So I searched for the brand and found these vitamins. I’ve been searching for vitamins with iron because mine is regularly low. I’ve had anemia in the past but haven’t been to a doctor in awhile to get my blood tested. The saw are seriously the real deal, so happy I found them.

My doctor recommended these and I am so glad I ordered them. Just one of the things I noticed is that my nails are strong. All my life I have had thin nails that were brittle and would break. Not anymore. I am in my 60's and have been taking these vitamins for 2 years now and I wouldn't switch or buy a cheaper brand. I have more energy and just feel better. I would definitely recommend them.

This product is amazing. I have been one to not get a lot of fruits and veggies in me, so this is an awesome substitute. After 2 weeks of taking these pills twice a day, my blood pressure has gone down drastically. I was a consistent 145/95 BP before taking them, and now i am 121/79.

It has worked for me and i had issues with high BP for years. This is the first time in 35 years where i can officially say that my health is going in the right direction. Obviously it is not because of just the pills as i have been exercising and eating right. But the pills play an intricate part in my diet regime. Give it a try!

I bought these after going vegan last year and experiencing fall allergy season like never before. They brought my immune system right back up to par! I recently tried the cheaper version with only 100% DV of the basics and no greens (little brown speckled pills). Don't do it!! I definitely feel much better when taking these, it's worth it for your health.

My otherwise healthy and strong 20 year old son does not eat fruits or vegetables and it was starting to effect his health. He started using Texas Superfood and we saw immediate results! Stomach cramps disappeared and his skin became clear. He's 20 so his energy level was already high but I'm sure it helps in that area as well. Nothing is a cure all but this product addressed the area that he needed to improve on and we are grateful.
