Best Conjugated Linoleic Acid Supplements 2024

Conjugated Linoleic Acid vs Linoleic Acid

Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid. It is an essential fatty acid, which means that the human body cannot produce it and must obtain it through the diet.

Linoleic acid and conjugated linoleic acid are both classified as omega-6 fatty acids. The primary distinction lies in the fact that linoleic acid is the omega-6 fatty acid with the shortest carbon chain, whereas conjugated linoleic acid represents a category of fatty acids comprising 28 various isomers of unsaturated linoleic acid.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid Benefits

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) has been examined for its possible health advantages, although research is still ongoing, and individual responses may differ. Here are some potential benefits of CLA:
  • Weight Management: According to one study, CLA supplementation may help reduce body fat and serum leptin. Therefore, it may be taken into account as a factor for weight loss.
  • Muscle Retention: Some studies indicates that CLA may contribute to improvements in body composition by assisting in the preservation of lean muscle mass during weight loss.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties: CLA may be able to reduce inflammation and the health problems that go along with it. Research on this possibility is still being continued.
  • Anti-Cancer Properties: Although further research is required to properly appreciate CLA's potential in cancer prevention or treatment, preliminary research has revealed that it may have anti-cancer effects.

I’ve tried not using it for a couple weeks and I gained weight even while working out. I try to eat healthy but find myself giving in to my weaknesses of bad food. I haven't taken c l a for quite some time.
It seems To enhance muscle performance and definition.
I am not a medical doctor I do not give out health advice but in my opinion, this seems to work pretty cool.
It was a reasonable price.
The size of the bottle is huge though you may take two tables a day.
I wish it would give a little bit more elasticity to your skin.
I have yet to find one product to refuce crepey skin.

Consistency is key here but I do believe these make a difference. I’ve been taking them for 6months now and I’m on the Amazon subscription refill. I do work out 6-7 days a week and eat relatively healthy. Even on my cheats days I feel like these really help to keep it all together. Whether it’s a placebo effect or not, I’d recommend with daily exercise and diet!

I was taking a different brand of CLA a few months back and didn't really notice anything but since switching over to NOW CLA have noticed a definite weight loss. This is not a miracle drug which causes rapid weight loss but when added to a nutritional diet of vegetables, fruit, and moderately lean meat it is noticeable. I have noticed a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds per week but I am a 6' 2" male weighing about 205 pounds currently. Give it a shot, not much to lose except the weight.
